A little alpine drama with a whole lot of vintage shelf sass. This original German Bastei Heimat-Roman booklet is Band 2, “Die Edelweiß-Burgl,” a mountain romance by Matthias Bruckner. The vivid orange-red cover, pastoral couple, Gothic masthead, and early issue number make it a striking piece of postwar German popular-culture ephemera.
