These 1960's Mexico Souvenir Oil Cloth folk art doll couple in straw straw sombreros was found in an old 60s blue suitcase filled with many other beautiful dolls of culture in Edith's "Doll Room". The "Doll Room" used to be a bedroom but was converted to house all of Edith's dolls and it was jam packed, wall to wall, floor to ceiling. A bit overwhelming at first I must say. But it has been a real joy going through all of them one by one. This particular couple stands about 7" tall and are in very good vintage condition which does not mean they come with zero flaws. There is a small break on one of the ladies sandals and the color from the bowl the man is holding is peeling. I've included those pictures so you can see too. They are both wearing straw hats or sombreros and have expressive faces. They are a darn cute couple.
