Presented to you is this 1900s Antique Sad Iron, Colebrookdale Iron Co Flat Iron, Antique Smoothing Iron Condition: Good About: This 1900s Antique Sad Iron, Colebrookdale Iron Co Flat Iron, Antique Smoothing Iron was likely made in the early 20th century. Colebrookdale was located in Pottstown, PA, and originally formed in the early 1700s, it was thought to be the oldest iron works in continuous operation in the United States at the time of its sale in 1953. This particular flat iron does not have a handle; the handles on this style of iron were detachable so you could swap out your cold iron for one that was hot and ready to go. This would make an excellent door stop, hot pot holder or addition to a unique piece of art. 5lbs 2oz and measures approximately 6"L x 3"W x 1.75"H

Our grade: VG+

Very Good (VG): Has minor wear but still works as its designed purpose.

Good (G): Is has significant wear but still works as its designed purpose.

Poor (P): Broken, cracked, heavily damaged, ripped in very bad condition.
